I got this book for Halloween for the very mildly scary story about the Pale Green Pants with nobody inside them. I am 60 years old, and actually have all the stories almost memorized, from when I was a child. The kids, 4-year-olds really loved the story, and listened to it several times and then they asked to hear the other stories as well, and listened attentively, and had lots of comments, which is as good as it gets.
